Descripción del proyecto

Resumen:

The Guide for the linguistic inclusion of migrants has been created with the intention of turning into a tangible product the proposal of INCLUDEED, an Erasmus+ project that pursues the integration of immigrants and refugees through one of the main assets of Europe, its languages. This guide addresses different challenges that arise during the period of integration of these groups and offers solutions that can favor the achievement of this complex process.

Based on the experience in this field of the universities that make up the INCLUDEED consortium (University of Salamanca, University of Bologna, University of Coimbra, University of Coimbra, University of Heidelberg, University of Poitiers and Trinity College Dublin), this document arises from the joint effort and the desire to achieve an egalitarian society in terms of integration. Likewise, the support of various non-governmental organizations (Red Cross, ACCEM, the CEPAIM Foundation and the Sierra-Pambley Foundation) dedicated to the reception and integration of immigrants and refugees throughout Europe has facilitated the detection of difficulties and made it possible to build bridges between different perspectives and unite efforts to converge in the same direction. It is, in short, a document that seeks to approach, through an informative language, but in a rigorous way, the theoretical advances in this matter and to offer diverse resources that can be put into practice in real life.

Objetivos:

The Guide for the linguistic inclusion of migrants addresses some of the challenges that emerge in the integration of immigrant and refugee groups and proposes solutions that can help this complex process to be successful. Developed from the experience that the six Universities of the consortium and the four partnerns have in this field, this document emanates from a common effort as well as from the will to form an egalitarian society in terms of integration. The aim of this document is becoming an ally both for those who wish to broaden their knowledge of the migratory phenomenon and for those who, in addition, wish to facilitate the integration process for these groups.

Designed as a useful vademecum for the performance of the tasks of the various groups (language teaching professionals or volunteers, non-governmental organizations and national and supranational public institutions), it is intended as a support tool to guide the actions of those involved in the integration process of the newcomer. The guide provides a better understanding of the situation in which these groups find themselves and of the tools available to achieve it.In short, it is a document that seeks to bring, through an informative language, but in a rigorous way, the theoretical advances in this field and to offer diverse resources that can be put into practice in real life.
